Hi all. My name is Joshua, and I am a high school Junior from Beaverton, Oregon. I will be blogging abroad this summer from Florence Italy, where I will be living with a host family, studying Italian, and traveling to various spots around the Boot in the Mediterranean Sea. Why did you pick your host country? 

Italy is awesome! I’ve been there twice. I already speak a good amount of Italian, but living in Italy would help make me fluent.  I also just want to experience Italy. It’s an amazing country.
